PIRAEUS — Olympiacos has secured the services of George Pappas for the 2026–27 season, signing the 28-year-old shooting guard to a one-year contract. The move officially brings Pappas back to the club where he started his professional journey in 2022, reuniting him with the Reds two years after his initial departure.

Pappas, who began his professional career with Olympiacos in 2022, returns to Piraeus on a one-year deal that covers the upcoming 2026–27 campaign. The 28-year-old shooting guard rejoins his first professional team after two seasons away, with the club confirming he is back in the Reds as it finalizes its backcourt options.

The signing adds familiar depth to the Olympiacos roster ahead of the new season, restoring a player who knows the club's system from his first stint. The Reds announced the agreement for the 2026–27 season, and with the one-year contract now in place, Pappas will look to re-establish himself in Piraeus as the club prepares for the upcoming campaign.
