KAUNAS — European champions Olympiacos visit Zalgiris tonight in Kaunas at 20:00 on Novasports Prime without Nikola Milutinov, aiming to move to 2-0 and extend an unbeaten EuroLeague run (excluding the Euroleague Super Cup) that has held since March 24, when they last lost in Valencia.
Olympiacos carry 10 consecutive EuroLeague wins into the game — nine from last season that carried them to the trophy at OAKA, plus one from this season's opener against Baskonia in Vitoria. Milutinov's absence is significant tonight because of Jonas Valanciunas in the Zalgiris paint, with the Lithuanian center set to play his first European home game in front of his club's supporters, leaving Tyrique Jones and Donta Hall with a difficult matchup inside.
The streak against Zalgiris had been dominant before last season's break. Olympiacos had won nine straight meetings against Zalgiris in any venue until falling 99-94 in overtime on Feb. 25, one of their final defeats chronologically in the 2025-26 season.
Zalgiris will be without Nigel Williams-Goss for the contest, while another former Olympiacos guard, Saben Lee, is doubtful to feature as both teams navigate early-season absences in Kaunas.
