LONDON — Arsenal came from behind to beat Leeds United 2-1 at Emirates Stadium, with substitute Bruno Guimaraes striking the winner after Riccardo Calafiori had cancelled out James Justin's opener. The champions showed resilience to take all three points in a close Premier League clash.

Leeds struck first through a very well-worked opener finished by Justin, who was teed up by an excellent assist from Gabriel Gudmundsson. Arsenal levelled when Ben White's header set up Calafiori, before Declan Rice provided a clever assist for Guimaraes — introduced on 63 minutes for Myles Lewis-Skelly — to complete the turnaround.

Guimaraes earned the highest mark with an 8 for coming on, changing the game and scoring the winner, while Calafiori and Rice both received 7s for their influence. Calafiori tried to make things happen with adventurous runs, while Rice injected energy as Arsenal struggled to create in the first half. For Leeds, Justin, Gudmundsson, Tarik Muharemovic and Ao Tanaka all impressed with 7s, with Tanaka and Ethan Ampadu giving the visitors a solid platform in midfield.

David Raya made a smart save to deny Jayden Bogle and an even better one to stop Gudmundsson, but was evaded by the cross for the Leeds goal in a 6 out of 10 display. Most of the Arsenal starting XI were marked 6, including Bukayo Saka — who caused Gudmundsson problems early but missed a big late chance for a third — and Kai Havertz, who lacked full match sharpness after a hamstring injury on international duty. Jurrien Timber added a calming presence after replacing White on 63 minutes to earn a 7, while Leeds substitutes Harry Wilson and Brenden Aaronson both received 6s after their introductions on 71 minutes.
