LONDON — Ezri Konsa and Nico O'Reilly are doubts for England's Nations League match against the Czech Republic on Tuesday night after missing training on Monday morning. The pair, who helped England reach the semi-finals of the 2026 World Cup, were the only two members of Thomas Tuchel's squad to sit out the session and instead followed individual programmes.

Both players completed the full 90 minutes in England's 3-2 loss to Spain on Saturday at Wembley. Manchester City's O'Reilly started at left-back, a position he made his own during the World Cup, and his error led to Alex Baena drawing Spain level at 2-2 before the World Cup winners went on to claim victory.

Arsenal centre-back Konsa has become one of Tuchel's most trusted players after starting seven of England's eight matches at the World Cup. If Konsa is unavailable, central defender Jarrad Branthwaite — who came on for Marc Guehi late against Spain — could be in contention to start, while Lewis Hall would be in line for an opportunity at left-back if O'Reilly does not recover.

England face four matches in this international window. After the defeat to Spain, they play the Czech Republic both home and away, either side of a trip to Rijeka to face Croatia.
