LEICESTER — Leicester City will travel to National League North side Oxford City in the first round of the 2026-27 FA Cup. The fixture, which is scheduled for the weekend of 7 November, marks the first time the Foxes have participated at this stage of the competition since 2008.

Russell Martin’s side, currently 14th in League One, face sixth-tier opposition as they look to progress in the tournament. Elsewhere in the draw, Peterborough United have been paired with Reading, setting up a family encounter as Posh manager Robbie Savage prepares to face his son Charlie’s side.

The draw featured 91 teams, including four clubs reaching the first round proper for the first time. Among the notable ties, League One leaders Bradford City will host National League North side Marine, while eighth-tier AFC Rushden & Diamonds, who have navigated five qualifying rounds, have been rewarded with a trip to Burton Albion.
