LAS VEGAS — Former two-time UFC flyweight champion Brandon Moreno will fight once more in 2026 when he meets Charles “Inner G” Johnson at UFC 335 on 12 December at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The flyweight bout has been added to the final numbered UFC event of the year, which is headlined by a BMF title fight between Charles Oliveira and Diego Lopes.
News of the match-up was first reported by MMA Fighting and confirmed by Paramount+, the UFC’s official broadcast partner, and by Moreno himself on Monday. Moreno (24-10-2), known as “The Assassin Baby”, will step into the octagon for the third time this year and arrives at 1-1 in 2026 after an upset loss to Lone’er Kavanagh followed by a split decision win over Joseph Morales at Noche UFC in September.
Johnson (20-9) continues a very busy 2026 with a fifth outing inside the calendar year. He is 2-2 to date and enters off a victory against Eduardo Henrique at UFC 330 in August, where he was hit with an illegal knee but rallied to secure a rarely seen twister submission. The finish earned “Inner G” a Performance of the Night bonus worth $100,000.
UFC 335 is set to close the promotion’s numbered schedule for 2026 at the T-Mobile Arena. Lopes will move to 155lbs from featherweight to challenge fellow Brazilian Oliveira for the BMF title in the main event, with the remaining reported match-ups for the card still to be finalised.
