SALT LAKE CITY — UFC 332 will crown just the third women's flyweight champion not named Valentina Shevchenko when Natália Silva and Wang Cong meet for the vacant title, with official weigh-ins scheduled for Friday in Salt Lake City, Utah. The much-maligned card will determine the fourth champion in the division's history.

Nicco Montano was the inaugural women's 125-pound champion, winning the title at the end of The Ultimate Fighter 26 against Roxanne Modafferi. Montano never defended the belt and was stripped after missing weight for a scheduled UFC 228 fight against Shevchenko. Shevchenko then held the title from 2018 to 2023 before a shock upset loss to Alexa Grasso, with the pair going 1-1-1 across a trilogy that ended with Shevchenko winning the title back at UFC 306 — Noche UFC — in September 2024. Two years later, Shevchenko vacated the title due to injury, opening the door for Silva and Wang.

The 14-fight lineup in Salt Lake City is headlined by the women's flyweight championship bout between Silva and Wang. The main card also features bantamweight Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Payton Talbott, lightweight King Green vs. Esteban Ribovics, welterweight Roberto Soldić vs. Khaos Williams and middleweight Ateba Gautier vs. Roman Kopylov. The undercard includes flyweight Imanol Rodríguez vs. Alden Coria, middleweight Damian Pinas vs. Andrey Pulyaev, featherweight Marcus McGhee vs. Anthony Romero, heavyweight Anthony Wint vs. Lucas Armand, heavyweight Johnny Walker vs. Mick Parkin, lightweight Rafael dos Anjos vs. Alexander Hernandez, middleweight Marvin Vettori vs. Ismail Naurdiev, welterweight Jacobe Smith vs. Bruce Whitehead and welterweight Court McGee vs. Eric Nolan.

The vacant title opportunity comes as Wang Cong eyes UFC gold ahead of her title opportunity and Natalia Silva's confidence that Brazil will hold all women's titles has framed the buildup. The card was also adjusted late with Marcus McGhee drawing late replacement Anthony Romero at featherweight.
